Pokemon Sky History
Pokemon Sky was actually going to be called Little Root Town. I was able to get hosted by Solarbeam.org. Well I didn't know how to use SSI or PHP and all of the pages were html which was not that good. Well After I had started it I found a site called LittleRoot Town so I knew I couldnt have the same name. In Late May I started to think of a new name. Well then I decided to name the site after my fan Pokemon Game Pokemon Sky version which I am hoping to create sometime soon. So the site became Pokemon Sky!
Pokemon Sky was first hosted by Pokemon Sky hostultra.com We got about 30 hits a day not that much. I had a simple White Layout with very few links. Well almost immdeiatley I made a new one! I just didnt really like the one that we had because if I wanted to add morelinks then the layout would get all messed up.So I tried making a new layout.

I was now able to add more pages. I was using Iframes though. We were still getting about 30 hits one day we were lucky and got 100. Well about a few days I found a host hostinganime.com that supported SSI and PHP well i still to this day dont understand PHP but I was able to under stand SSI. So I got a new layout on Freelayouts.com. I switched almost immediatly and I'm still using hosting anime.
August 8th 2004
Well I reached my goal and got over 10,000 hits! About 300 through 400 hits a day! and sometimes when we're luckey we get 500 hits or more!!
September 2004
Well, HostingAnime was good but they didn't support FTP which wasn't really good. That's when Pokemon706 was doing free hosting and so I signed up for that. I wanted to learn PHP for the reopening of Pokemon Sky and a good friend (?imakuni) set it up for me and I FINALLY figured it out XD.
October 2004
Pokemon 706 went down and so at that point I once again didnt have any host XD
Later in October
I decided to go back to Hostultra. I made a new layout but I didn't really like that much.
November 2004
Pokemon 706 was back but they now had 706host. I decided to give them one more try. You can guess what happened -.-
December 2004
TigerGirl from Pokemon-Country was hosting me but they soon went down too
January 2005
I made a deal with Kyle from Kyletech he said he would host me! And...He even offered me a free domain!
Feburary 10th 2005
Kyle sets up the domain and site. I start working on rebuilding Pokemon Sky.
Feburary 22nd 2005
Pokemon Sky is doing better than ever here at Kyletech!
Lower you will see the new layout that was made for the re-opening of Pokemon Sky! We also celbrated with a new domain, new forums, a brandnew Oekaki! Pokemon-Sky was better than it had ever been before!!

April 22nd 2005
I start designing and coding the new layout as a gift to the site for it's one year birthday!
After succesfully creating an attractive style to Pokemon Sky, we steadily gained more and more hits. Unfortunately, however, things weren't going too well for Kyletech.
Elixant Hosting
Around October of 2005 Kyletech experienced some problems. His was constantly going down, meaning my site and his other hostees were going down too. I soon became the only website Kyletech hosted and all of his other hostees were wanting me to leave him. I knew that I couldn't stay with Kyle any longer but I didn't want to hurt his feelings, that's not something I do, or get into a war with him because I left him. After about a onth I finally botteled up the courage to go up to him and say, "I'm leaving," but I was still nervous. So, I opened up the IM box to message him. I started typing down my message when he IMd me, saying he couldn't host me! I was so happy, he dropped me and I didn't have to drop him. It was almost perfect, except for one problem, I was left without a host.
All of my friends were switching to Elixant, and adviced me to do the same. I wanted to switch to elixant but the problem was, it cost money and that was something I didn't have. I knew though that paid hosting would probably be the best way to go, with my past experiences with free hosting, and Elixant had high ratings. Luckily for me, I decided to re build the site when Elixant was having it's Christmas specials. I also had a discount code from a friend of mine which made thinsg even better. The price was reasonable, and should stay that way, which means everything is fine as long as I can get 30 dollars a year (hahaha).
Mount Moon Community
My good friend Paul from PJN confronted me with a question, if I would like to join his new community forum. Now, in the past I had some hard running ins with forums. I had joined many community forum for PS. Most went down, and at the moment I was looking for a good community forum to join, or I could create my own which I knew wouldn't do very good. I took Paul's offer, and I am happy to say that MMC is still living strong after four months of running.
In July Mount Moon Community held it's first contest and reach over 180 members.
