Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen allows you to go back in time to the first Pokemon Games (Blue and Red), giving you the classic feeling of what it is like to be a Pokemon Master. Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen were critical games to the Pokemon GBA Franchise (which included more than five games), because it allowed trainers to obtain the first set of 150 Pokemon to add to their new games which focused on the Hoenn Region. Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen continued the Male/Female option and also featured the Pokemon World we know and love in amazing new graphics. The two games.

 

The Pokemon Trainer is once again given the opportunity to fight their way through the Pokemon world! All eight Gym Leaders make a comeback as you face each one, again. Soon thereafter, The Elite Four has challenged you to a Pokemon Battles! You must once again fight your way through in order to make it to a new location, the Sevii Islands. Once in the Sevii Islands, you are given many quests that help you reach rare Pokemon that can be traded with your other Pokemon games. Of course, in the end you must continue to catch all Pokemon, but now there are a total of 300 + Pokemon!

Many New Features were added into this game, here just a few.

- Pokemon players had a cool built in help guide that could be used to explain certain game aspects. This included the new handy portable TV Center, Teachy TV, which gave demos on Pokemon battling techniques.

- The game featured all 150 Pokemon that could be transfered into any Third-Generation Games.

- Berries made a return from Hoenn, now in Kanto.

- 2 on 2 Battles were implanted into the game.

- The new Sevii Islands were created to go along with the game, after defeating the Elite 4. The Sevii Islands featured many important Pokemon such as the ones from Hoenn and Johto.

- A small black and white movie-like feature begins at the start of game play which shows you what you did  the last time you had logged on.

- A new tool, the VS  Seeker, allows the player to find trainers who are willing to go for a rematch.

- The Wireless Adapter  feature was added as well. It allowed trainers to trade and battle with others in the Union Room.
